The modern peel, minus the drama.

PCA Skin has refined clinical chemical peels for over thirty years. Their blended formulas deliver real correction — pigmentation, acne, melasma, texture, aging — without the harsh downtime older peel generations were known for. Every peel is $150.

How It Works

Exfoliate the surface, wake up what's beneath.

A chemical peel uses carefully formulated acids and actives to exfoliate the upper layers of skin and trigger its natural renewal. The result is fresher, smoother, brighter skin — with improvements in pigmentation, fine lines, texture, and tone that continue to develop as deeper layers remodel over the following weeks.

The PCA difference: rather than one acid at a high concentration, PCA layers multiple actives at lower concentrations. That approach is gentler on the skin barrier and safer across all skin tones — without giving up results.

Treatment overview

  • Treatment time: 30–45 minutes
  • Sensation: mild tingling or warmth — no numbing needed
  • Downtime: minimal for lighter peels; 3–5 days of flaking for deeper ones
  • Results: keep building for weeks as deeper layers remodel
What To Expect

A quick treatment, a considered plan.

Your appointment begins with a skin analysis — we confirm your goals, review your home skincare, and select the peel protocol that fits. We adjust the treatment to how your skin responds, not to a uniform script.

  • Duration: 30–45 minutes in the chair.
  • Sensation: mild tingling or warmth — no numbing required.
  • Downtime: lighter peels bring subtle improvement with minimal visible peeling and a same-day return to your routine; deeper peels bring noticeable flaking over 3–5 days.
  • Results build: continued improvement develops over the following weeks as deeper layers remodel.

One peel produces meaningful improvement. For pigmentation, melasma, acne, or more significant concerns, a series of 3–6 peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart delivers the most dramatic results, with a maintenance peel every 2–3 months to hold them.

Frequently asked questions.

Will I actually peel?
Depends on the formula. Lighter peels often produce little visible flaking — just subtly fresher skin — and you can return to your day immediately. Deeper peels bring noticeable flaking over 3–5 days. Either way, the renewal is happening; visible peeling isn't the measure of a peel working.
Are PCA peels safe for deeper skin tones?
Yes. Because PCA layers multiple actives at lower concentrations instead of relying on a single high-concentration acid, these peels are gentler on the skin barrier and safer across all skin tones — one of the key advances over older peel generations.
How do you choose my peel?
At your visit. We analyze your skin, confirm your goals, and review what you're using at home before selecting from the seven formulas — acne, aging, pigmentation, redness, or cell turnover. You don't need to decide before you arrive.
How many peels will I need?
A single peel delivers meaningful improvement. For pigmentation, melasma, acne, or significant texture concerns, plan on a series of 3–6 peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart, then a maintenance peel every 2–3 months.
Does it hurt?
Most clients feel mild tingling or warmth during the 30–45 minute treatment — no numbing required.
How does a peel compare to a laser facial?
Both renew the skin; they get there differently. Peels work chemically at the surface, while our PicoToning Laser Facial uses light energy to break up pigment deeper in the skin. Many clients benefit from both — we'll help you sequence them.
