The Motus AZ+ combines two laser wavelengths — Alexandrite 755nm and Nd:YAG 1064nm — which is what makes it safe and effective across the full range of skin tones. Its Moveo handpiece glides continuously over the skin with built-in cooling, so treatment feels warm and even rather than sharp.

The laser targets melanin in the hair follicle, converting light to heat that disables hair production. Because hair grows in cycles, it takes a series to catch every follicle: six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart typically produces 80–95% permanent reduction. BEFORE

Prep your skin.

No waxing, plucking, or threading for four weeks — the laser needs the follicle intact. Shave the area 24 hours before your visit, and avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks.

DURING

Warmth, not zaps.

The Moveo handpiece moves continuously over cooled skin. Sessions take 5 to 45 minutes depending on the area, and most clients go straight back to their day.

AFTER

Easy aftercare.

Protect the area from sun. Skip hot showers, saunas, intense exercise, and exfoliating products for 24–48 hours, and let treated hairs shed naturally over the following weeks.

How many sessions will I need?

Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only disables follicles in their active phase. Six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart typically produces 80–95% permanent reduction — which is why our 8-session packages and 6-month-minimum memberships are structured the way they are.

Does it work on darker skin tones?

Yes. The Motus AZ+'s dual wavelengths — Alexandrite 755nm and Nd:YAG 1064nm — make it safe and effective across the full range of skin tones. One caveat on hair color: very light blonde, gray, white, and red hair contain little to no melanin and may not respond.

Package or membership — which makes sense for me?

If you're treating one or two areas, an 8-session package is the simplest route. If you're treating several areas, memberships spread the cost: LHR Mini at $99/month for small areas, LHR Standard at $149/month for up to large areas, or LHR Full Body at $199/month for everything — each with a 6-month minimum. Can I wax between sessions?

No — waxing, plucking, and threading remove the follicle the laser needs to target. Shaving is fine anytime; in fact, we ask you to shave 24 hours before each session.

Is everyone a candidate?

Most people are, but laser hair removal isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with a history of keloid scarring, active skin infections, Accutane use within the past six months, or certain photosensitizing conditions.
