Two different things are happening when a line settles in. The first is movement: thousands of daily contractions from the muscles that raise your brows, squint your eyes, and purse your lips eventually crease the skin above them, the way a folded page keeps its fold. The second is structure: from our late twenties onward, skin produces less collagen and elastin each year, so it springs back a little less each time.
That's why no single treatment handles every line. Movement lines respond best to relaxing the muscle underneath. Etched-in lines and crepey texture respond best to rebuilding the skin itself. Most people over thirty benefit from a measured dose of both — which is exactly how we plan it.
