Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Testosterone Replacement Therapy at Rejuvia
Hormone Optimization for Men — Dallas, TX
Energy that doesn't come back after sleep. Workouts that don't translate into the body you used to have. A slower mind, a quieter libido, a mood that's harder to lift than it used to be. Brain fog you can't quite name. The sense that something is off — not catastrophic, but real.
For many men, this is what low testosterone feels like. It's not a single dramatic symptom. It's a gradual erosion of the things that used to feel automatic.
Testosterone replacement therapy is one of the most well-studied, well-established treatments in modern medicine for restoring testosterone to a healthy physiologic range. At Rejuvia, TRT is a medical program, not a prescription handoff. Every client begins with comprehensive lab work, a full clinical intake, and a treatment plan designed around your levels, your goals, and your long-term health.
What TRT Does
Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone, but its effects extend far beyond what most men associate with it. Testosterone influences energy production, lean muscle mass and recovery, fat distribution, bone density, libido and sexual function, mood, cognition, motivation, and cardiovascular health.
When testosterone declines — whether from aging, lifestyle factors, medical conditions, or stress — the downstream effects show up across all of these systems at once. That's why low testosterone doesn't feel like one specific symptom; it feels like a slow fade across the whole picture.
TRT restores your testosterone to a healthy physiologic range. The result, for most clients, is a return of energy, mental clarity, libido, recovery, and the sense of being yourself again. Done properly — with lab monitoring, appropriate dosing, and the right ancillary medications when needed — TRT is one of the most life-changing therapies in men's health.
Our Approach
TRT at Rejuvia is not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Every program is built around your individual labs, symptoms, and goals, and adjusted over time based on how your body responds.
We treat the full clinical picture, not just the testosterone number. That means we test and monitor estradiol, hematocrit, PSA, lipids, and other markers throughout your program, and we adjust your protocol as needed to keep every value where it should be. Where appropriate, we incorporate ancillary medications — including aromatase inhibitors, HCG, or enclomiphene — to maintain fertility, manage estradiol conversion, or preserve testicular function.
Our goal isn't to get your testosterone as high as possible. It's to get you feeling, performing, and aging the way you want to, with a program that's sustainable for the long term.
How Our Program Works
Every TRT program at Rejuvia begins with comprehensive baseline lab work. This includes total and free testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, LH, FSH, prolactin, complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, PSA, and additional markers as clinically indicated.
After your labs are in, you'll meet with your provider for a full clinical consultation. We'll review your results, walk through your symptoms and goals, confirm you're a candidate, and design your protocol — including the medication, dose, frequency, and any ancillary medications needed.
Follow-up labs are typically drawn at the 6–8 week mark to confirm your levels and adjust your dose, then at regular intervals throughout your program to keep everything optimized.
What to Expect
Most clients begin to notice changes within the first two to four weeks — often starting with improved energy and mood, followed by libido, mental clarity, and sleep quality. Changes in body composition (lean muscle, fat distribution) typically develop over months two through six and continue with consistent training and nutrition.
TRT is a long-term therapy. The men who get the best results are the ones who commit to the program, do their follow-up labs on time, and stay in communication with us as their protocol evolves. We're invested in your long-term outcome, not just the first refill.
Side effects, when they occur, are usually manageable with appropriate monitoring and dose adjustment. The most common are acne, fluid retention, and mild changes in mood or sleep early in the program. Elevated hematocrit, estradiol changes, and other lab shifts are screened for at every follow-up and addressed proactively. We do not push clients into dosing or protocols that compromise long-term health for short-term performance.
Who's a Candidate
TRT is appropriate for adult men with clinically low testosterone (typically below 300 ng/dL on morning labs, or within the lower reference range with significant symptoms) and a thorough clinical evaluation confirming candidacy.
TRT is not appropriate for men with active prostate or breast cancer, untreated severe sleep apnea, untreated polycythemia, or certain other medical conditions we'll screen for at your consultation. Men actively trying to conceive should discuss fertility-preserving options (HCG, enclomiphene) with their provider before starting traditional TRT.
We do not prescribe TRT for performance enhancement in men with normal testosterone levels. We prescribe TRT for men with clinical indication, supported by labs, who will benefit from restoring their hormones to a healthy range.
Book a Free Consultation
TRT is one of the most meaningful health investments a man can make, and getting it right requires a provider who treats the whole picture, monitors carefully, and adjusts your protocol as your body responds.
Consultations include a full clinical intake, baseline lab review (if labs are in hand), and an honest conversation about whether TRT is right for you. You're never obligated to start the same day.
