The laser facial is the treatment most clients don't know they want until they've had one. It's not a peel, not a microneedling session, not a HydraFacial — it's a clinical resurfacing treatment that uses laser energy to address pigmentation, redness, vascular concerns, dullness, and overall skin quality in a single session, with no downtime and immediate visible improvement.

At Rejuvia, our laser facial is performed on the Motus AY — one of the most advanced laser platforms in the world, and the same system that makes our laser hair removal safer and more comfortable than older technologies. The Motus AY's dual-wavelength technology makes the laser facial safe and effective across the full range of skin tones, including the darker skin types that traditional resurfacing lasers couldn't safely treat.

What a Laser Facial Does

A laser facial uses calibrated laser energy to deliver multiple clinical benefits in one treatment:

• It targets and breaks up unwanted pigmentation — sun damage, age spots, melasma, and post-inflammatory marks — by selectively heating the pigment so the body can clear it.
• It targets vascular concerns — redness, broken capillaries, rosacea-related flushing, and visible vessels — by gently coagulating the blood vessels so they fade.
• It stimulates collagen production at the deeper layers of the skin, improving firmness, smoothness, and overall skin quality over the weeks that follow.
• It refines pores, smooths texture, and delivers an immediate post-treatment glow that lasts for days.
• It does all of this in a single 30-minute treatment with no downtime — which is what makes it one of the most-requested treatments in modern aesthetics.

What to Expect

A laser facial takes about 30 minutes. We cleanse your skin, apply ultrasound gel (no numbing required for most clients), and pass the Motus AY handpiece across the treatment area in smooth, in-motion strokes. Most clients describe the sensation as a warm massage, with occasional brief warmth on areas with more pigmentation or vascular activity.

Immediately after, your skin will look brighter and feel smooth. Some clients have a mild flush for a few hours; most look refreshed by the time they leave. There is no peeling, no downtime, and no restriction on activities. You can apply makeup the same day if needed.

Over the following week, you may notice pigmented spots darken slightly before flaking off (this is the laser doing its work), broken capillaries fading, redness calming, and skin texture refining. Continued improvement develops over the following four to six weeks as collagen remodels.

Treatment Series

Most clients see meaningful improvement after a single laser facial — it's one of the few treatments where you genuinely see results from the first session. For pigmentation, melasma, vascular concerns, or significant skin quality goals, a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart delivers the most dramatic and durable results. Maintenance laser facials every two to three months keep skin clear, even, and bright.

The laser facial pairs exceptionally well with other Rejuvia services — clients often combine it with a Custom Facial, HydraFacial, or microneedling series for layered, comprehensive results.

Who's a Candidate

The Motus AY laser facial is safe and effective across most skin tones. It is not appropriate for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have active skin infections or open lesions in the treatment area, who have used isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past six months, who have a recent sun tan or self-tanner application, or who have certain photosensitizing medical conditions we'll screen for at your consultation.

Pre & Post-Treatment Care

Avoid direct sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks before your treatment. Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids for three to five days before treatment.

After treatment, use SPF every day (this is essential — laser-treated skin is temporarily more photosensitive). Resume your normal skincare 24 to 48 hours after treatment, avoiding active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C) until your skin feels completely normal again.
